1. Who we are
Groupe Xpidex is a courier company operating in Montreal, Laval, Longueuil and the surrounding municipalities. We are an online-only service: bookings are made through this website, by phone or by email.
2. Bookings and quotes
Prices shown by the shipping calculator are estimates based on the addresses, the service level and the dimensions and weight you enter. The final price is confirmed by our dispatch team and may change if the actual shipment differs from what was declared.
A booking is only firm once we confirm it by email. During business hours we confirm within 15 minutes.
3. Pickup and delivery windows
Delivery promises (Rush, Express, Same day, Scheduled) are measured from the moment a driver collects the shipment, not from the moment you book. Pickup and delivery always take place on the same day; we never hold a shipment overnight unless you ask us to.
Someone must be available at both addresses during the agreed window. If a pickup or delivery fails because nobody is present, a waiting or re-attempt fee may apply.
4. Prices, taxes and payment
All prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude GST and QST, which are shown separately on the invoice. A fuel surcharge is applied to the subtotal and shown as a separate line.
Payment is online only. Drivers do not carry cash and do not collect payment. Business customers may be invoiced on account where agreed in writing.
5. Cancellations
You may cancel free of charge until a driver has been dispatched. Once a driver is on the way, the base rate of the selected service level is charged.
6. Your responsibilities
- Declare the contents, dimensions and weight accurately.
- Pack items so they survive normal handling and transport.
- Do not ship prohibited goods (see the conditions of carriage).
- Provide complete addresses, access instructions and a reachable phone number.
7. Liability
Our liability for loss or damage is limited as described in the conditions of carriage. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or missed opportunities.
8. Accounts
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password confidential. You can close your account at any time from the settings page; we keep booking and invoicing records as required by law.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date below shows the last revision. These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and of Canada, and the courts of the judicial district of Montreal have jurisdiction.
